GD 180 — Digital Photography I

This course introduces students to the fundamental terminology, concepts, methodologies, and techniques of digital photography. It focuses on the principles of composition, lighting, and visual story telling in photography. The course will focus on color photographic techniques specifically. An overview of the history of this modern medium and impact on contemporary graphic design will be introduced through lecture and field trips.
